ARTHUR ANDRONAS

Director | Architect & Heritage Consultant

Arthur is the sole Director of Andronas Conservation Architecture, an award-winning practice with an excellent reputation in architectural design and conservation.

As Director, Arthur oversees work on all projects and is involved in all aspects of project procurement on built projects, from concept design through to contract administration.

Arthur has a particular interest and expertise in building science and the diagnosis of repair issues in historic buildings. He also has a passionate interest in stone and mortar technology and fire safety in historic buildings.

The practice has completed many ecclesiastical projects and as a result, Arthur also has considerable experience and expertise in the design of worship spaces.

Gabrielle moylan

Architect & Heritage Consultant

Gabrielle passed away on the 1st November 2020. She is dearly missed in the office. Obituary to come shortly.

MARk JOSEPH

Senior Architectural Technician & Heritage Consultant

Mark is a Senior Architectural Technician and Heritage Consultant at Andronas Conservation Architecture. He possesses an Advanced Diploma in Building Design, a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, and a Masters in the Conservation of Historic Buildings with distinction from The University of Bath.

With a foundation built upon years of hands-on experience in heritage trades, Mark has accrued nearly a decade of specialised expertise in architectural conservation. His areas of interest include practical conservation techniques, material science, and the emergent field of post-war suburban heritage.

 

TRudy rickard

Architect & Heritage Consultant

Trudy is an Architect and Heritage Consultant at Andronas Conservation Architecture.

Trudy has worked as an architecture and heritage conservation professional for over 20 years, having been the heritage conservation architect for the City of Greater Bendigo in both the Statutory Planning and Property departments from 2015 to 2021, as the Heritage advisor at Southern Grampians Shire Council since 2010, and more recently at the Glenelg Shire Council.

She has carried out heritage work for numerous individuals and organisations, including the National Trust Australia (Victoria), the councils of Moyne, Glenelg, and Warrnambool as well as for Parks Victoria and Worn Gundidj enterprises at Tower Hill.

She is interested in promoting good conservation practice while incorporating sympathetic, modern architectural design that supports contemporary, sustainable use.

Elsa measday

Junior Technician

Elsa is a Junior Technician at Andronas Conservation Architecture. She is currently completing her Master of Architecture at the University of Melbourne. She has completed her Bachelor of Design, majoring in Architecture, with a specialisation in Design Histories and Environmental Design.

Elsa has been working at the practice for over 2 years and has enhanced her skills in measured drawings and conservation management practices. She aims to apply her heritage knowledge to adaptive reuse projects with a focus on net zero energy systems.

daina minchenko

Junior Technician

Daina has completed her Bachelor of Design, majoring in Architecture, with specialisations in Design Histories and Environmental Design, and will be returning to the University of Melbourne in 2024 to begin her Master of Architecture.
